new maf etc still limping!

Sorry if you heard this many a time before but i'm stumped ,1.9 a3 tdi giving the usual symptoms for faulty maf, changed this and the n75 valve stil got probs,it seems worse from cold, and usually dies around 2800-3000 rpm,cant see any probs wth vac pipes any help greatly appreciated.
i believe the vag code threw something along the lines of variable charge pressure fault.
 
This may or may not be of much use but I did read a feature on Audi 80 TDi's once that said there was a sensor near cylinder Number 3 that if faulty would make the engine feel gutless by preventing revving past the 3000 rpm mark?
Cannot be any more specific sorry as that was all that was mentioned.....

cheers, but this is more of an intermittent fault, happens less when warmed up,sometimes revs out cleanly other times not thanks anyways
