B5 A4 2.5 v6 tdi exhaust mod help

Hello folks

I plan on doing a decat and straight through on my car, have been told it will squeeze a bit more power out it, and if its anything like a passat v6 tdi i heard, an awesome noise.

My question is, would removing the cats cause any engine management issues, would i be forced to have it remapped ?

No, you don't need a remap + there will be no warning lights on the dash...It will help the turbo come on boost quicker but do not expect wonders !
