A6 1.9tdi (110) Clutch

Hey,

The clutch on my 1999 a6 19tdi (110) AFN needs replacing, its done 131000 miles on the original one, but everywhere i take it either wont touch it, or just wont quote me, i havent tried the main stealers though.

Apparently its too big a job for some places to do, the keep saying it isnt worth them using a ramp all day to just do a clutch....... lazy ar$eholes.

Any ideas on where i should take it and how much i should pay????

I'm surprised no one seems to want the work. Phone your dealer and get a price, if only to compare other prices to.

I'm suprised too, but all they say is, "its too big a job" fools!!!! Still not got anyone to do the work.... it's looking like im gonna have to take it to audi,

i got a quote for £290 with pc motors in bristol no probs.
Oh and i'm on 149191 miles and still on original on 1998 tdi a6.

I can beat that:180,000 miles in my wife's '97 A4 but I drove it the other day and the clutch now definitely needs attention. Thanks for the mention about PC Motors, I'm about 27 miles from Bristol.
