I have a 2009 A3 1.9Tdie, which I've owned from new. As soon as it hit the magic 60,000 miles (just under 3 years old) it has intermittently refused to start from cold. Eventually, it will start but after a lot of effort. Audi have had the car for extended periods over the last 6 weeks (now on its 3rd visit to them) but other than changing the sensor on the crankshaft have been unable to diagnose what the problem is. It certainly seems to be something to do with the fuel system, and not electrical. Has anyone else had this problem - if so, what was the solution? I know from other posts that the 2.0Tdi has something similar.
I'm getting to the stage where I'm tempted to get rid of the car and move away from VAG.

have you got any fault codes from audi ?
