Help pls! What is this (split) pipe?!

Hi all,

Just popped my bonnet and found this split pipe?
What is it for?
And what's the pipe called so I know what to look for at Halfords?

Any help / advice much appreciated!

Actually, I've just seen that I can move the sheath and cut it short!

Would still like to know what it's for though!

Thats the pipe between the Fufu valve and the wagglejiggle bypass housing. Easy enough job to do if you can find the aforementioned components

I know this post is 4 weeks old but that is a breather pipe, i would just replace it if u havent already

There was enough reach in the original pipe to cut the split bit off.
