Anyone fitted/know how to fit a Boost guage on a diesel?

As above, lookin to fit a boost guage to my a6 tdi, saw a thread on fitting to an A4 1.8T and wondered how to do it on a 1998 1.9TDi A6.

Also what's the max boost on tdi? 1.0 bar, 1.5?

from memory they run quite high boost.
