Diesel centre box and back pressure

Hi, the baffles in my car have collapsed and instead on replaceing the box im planning on having it removed because its about half the price, its only the centre box that will be removed and that cat and rear box will still be there.

Now I wa thinking am I going to loose performance from doing this? Due to not as much back pressure or will that cat and the rear box provide enough back pressure still?

    The cars a a4 b5 1.9tdi 110, chipped to 140-145bhp with egr blanked off.
2003 Audi A4 Avant-tdi 130-Remapped, Allard EGR Pipe, Smooth airbox, HIDS, Flyeye kit, de-chrome grill, de-badged.

    Coming soon-18s or 19s

Diesel's DO NOT like back pressure so any way that reduces this will improve turbo spool up [ engine response time]. You will find on other VAG forums a lot of people have removed a lot of the "boxes" , only problem could be is when MOT is due. .............................................
