Induction kits?

Any advice for induction kits on TDi's ? Are there any positive gains?

Not seen any related threads yet but more flow must mean a better boost response surely?

Fitted a K&N kit on my 1998 Passat 1.9tdi (110hp) and the fuel economy improved a couple of mpg. Performance not greatly different.
