.....JBR performace just emailed me back saying, diesels cant have a dump valve fitted to them, surely they are wrong, ive seen loads of diesels with a dumpvalve!
Complete waste of money and can infact cost you power. Most diesels dont need a dump valve because there is no throttling on the intake manifold so as the turbo is spooling down ie like when you change gear all the boost still goes through the engine so the turbo doesnt slow down/stall like it would on a petrol engine. Get a CD made up with a maxpower ptchhhhhhssss recorded on it and play it at gear changes!!! Honestly a waste of money. If it needed one audi would have put it there from the start.
