Overall, a very clean and well looked after motor with just the light wash marring and dealer swirls letting it down..

Sills, shuts and wheels worked on first..

The wheels had come off of the car only a few days ago.. Whilst off, they were sealed and topped with 2 coats of wax (so very little for me to do today!)

Fiddly areas cleaned with G101 and a detail brush:

Snowfoam delivered and further ‘brush work’ commenced:

One or two tiny tar deposits dealt with with Tardis.

This was about the worst of the contaminants I could find today.. As said, a very well cared for vehicle.

Clean.

Yesterdays Enhancement work on the RS6 worked wonders. Today however, it’d have been useless. The TT’s paint was very hard; an initial Menzerna 203s test carried out with a 3M polishing pad and little difference was made. Bearing in mind we only had the rest of the afternoon to carry the work out, a single-pass is all we could make. Stepping up to a Meguiars pad and, we’re happy at that.

Boot-lid before and after:

Right hand side of bonnet untouched:

And left hand side ‘enhanced’:

The marks on the bonnet appeared to be much deeper than everywhere else.. Look at the rear quarter/boot-lid for instance:

…this cleaned up very well indeed.

Rear clusters were quite heavily swirled:

A pass with 203s on a spot polishing pad improved things, but, deep RDS’s remained.

After the rotary work was complete, the DA was fired up and White Diamond glaze used to clean the paintwork.

As a bit of an experiment for the owner and I, and, to make the most of the metallic flake, we opted against a wax and stuck with Jeffs Werkstat Jett to seal the paint. Two layers applied in the hour we had left..

Meanwhile, the tyres were dressed, sills and shuts cleansed, windows polished and britework attended to (not as though it really needed it!)

Finished off at 7pm – another 10+ hour day (day after the 11 hours spent of the RS6 Avant)

As we’d lost the sun at this point and we’d been unable to capture and true ‘after’ photos yet, we found a little spot on the trip home to snap a few final pics and to say our farewells.
