Best products for cleaning and protecting leather?

Hi, does anyone have a recommendation on products for cleaning and restoring leather? I have auto glym cleaner and restorer but doesn't seem too great. What does everyone else use?

It all depends on what type of leather you are working on. If it's modern vinyl laminated leather (i.e. what comes as standard in 99% of modern cars with leather interiors) then you should be looking at water-based vinyl cleaners/conditioners, as oily old school leather products will not work at all well. hell this goes into depth. its just standard grey nappa leather in an s3, the creamish colour. would really like to keep it up to scratch. ive also noticed 2 little 1mm knicks in the passenger seat., any ideas how to sort this?
 
Difficult to sort unfotunately, because any spot repair will stand out a million mile. Might be worth (if you're that bothered) looking into a new cover from Audi, or more along the lines to keep the seats matching, a second hand seat (so it's still worn and not brand new).
 
+ AG Leather Care is pretty bog standard stuff and really doesn't do much. LTT is superb. Use it on all of my jobs.

In that case I personally would go with Raceglaze Leather Balm; it's inexpensive and works brilliantly on Audi leathers. Regarding the nicks, can't add to what JD09 has said. :sm4:
 
Pretty sure I have 50/50s somewhere but can't access on this comp. I have actually just purchased some Gliptone products to trial them.
 
Sounds like LTT is the product. I think with it being their profession, I would go with JD09 and detail ecosse, like anything, you get what you pay for. Its a bit pricey for me personally, but if money is no object, Get the LTT. Let us know how you get on with whatever you get please brys3. Am going to give mine the once over with gliptone soon, will post some pics and try and get some 50/50's up.
 
S***, Sorry Rich, forgot about your post on here. In fact the raceglaze leather care kit you have on PB is great value for money and everything you'd need to bring any leather upto scratch! Well worth a look, especially if it's tried and tested on audi's leathers! My bad :redface:
