All sound advice above. Modern plastic panels are painted away from the main production line and fitted to the car during the latter stages of the build; a degree of colour variation is therefore quite common these days, even though identical paints and spraying techniques are used (the primer surface is quite different though). Whether this is right or not on cars costing small fortunes is another question!
