Trying to correct glass is always a long, tedious and testing process, but it is possible to achieve a lot if you have patience. Using a dual action machine is obviously limiting in terms of what can be done, but if you use a rotary, most fine defects can be greatly improved. All you have to watch is heat build up, as if you don't you can easily wrinkle the laminate film sandwiched within the glass being polished, and if you do this optical distortion results. We offer two Lake Country glass polishing kits (for use with DA and rotary polishers respectively) and they work well in most cases, although you always have to bear in mind that you are attempting to cut back an extremely hard surface.
