Hi i have had a bottle of oil leak onto my boot mat:(, before i go and buy a new one is it worth trying to clean it?

If so any good methods, i can not really see it to be honest but needs cleaning out, jet wash fairy liquid? would that be ok then left to dry? cheers all Oski

Maybe give it a good soak with some degreaser first, then try some Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner (or similar).

I have just (very successfully) removed some oily finger prints from my light coloured headlining with the APC :)

Vanish foam spray mate, works wonders, you should see what its done to my passenger alcantara, amazing stuff, lol.

Some sort of degreaser, followed by fairy liquid, followed by some carpet shampoo.

To be honest though I have done the same on an old car I had....nothing got it out :(
