nice weather = time to wash car

with the nice weather over the weekend i couldn't resist giving my car it's first proper clear for ages

here's a quick description of what i did and a few pics too (thats if i can attach 'em!)

firstly i washed the car using the two bucket method and megs gold class shampoo, then once dried i clayed the whole car, and finished off using the jeffs werkstat prime & jett acrylic. (it's the firsttime i've used the jeefs stuff and i'm really impressed with it - cheers PB for pointing me in that direction)

All i need to do now is save some pennies and get tyres put onto my LM's

cheers djakster, yeah i had the same problem deciding on either the jeffs werkstat acrylic kit or the blackfire kit.

I think what swayed it the jeffs acrylic way for me was the 'flake pop' and reflectiveness over the sheer wet look and shine of the black fire, as the offical colour of my car is metallic mineral grey.

I guess the best one to go with really depends on the colour of your car but i'm sure what ever you decide your gonna be pleased with the results.

I think your best bet is to ask the guys at polished bliss, they know there stuff!!

Yup spring is the best season to clean your car seriously. You will get the best result after without doing that many work on your car.

By the way. Nice job on your car.

Tough call on mid-tone finishes; the Werkstat will give more flake pop and reflectivity, while the Blackfire will give a deeper gloss and make more of the base colour. All said and done though, you won't be dissapointed with either finish...
