Hi,
On the weekend I washed my car using my usual Wash / Wax shampoo , I haven't had a problem before but I guess it was too hot and the shampoo must have dried before it was fully rinsed off. I have washed the car again but many small dried in water / shampoo marks remain.

What is the best way to remove them? I started using some hand polish which seems to remove the marks ( albeit slowly ) but I'm afraid I will scratch or damage the paint if I'm too aggressive.

Thanks..

I would try using a clay bar, then wash, polish and wax the car. Should get rid of all if not most marks on your car. The car will look awesome after all this too.

Thanks, I will try the clay bar.

Never used one before but sounds like they work well.

Agreed, rewash it under cool conditions, and then clay carefully using a mild clay bar and lubricant. Then inspect; if the water marks have etched then you may have to polish as well, but if you're lucky the desposits will be on the surface only and removed by the clay. Fingers crossed.
