This car belongs to Chris (Forum member, Lightspeed) who lives across the burn. It is 2 days fresh from the dealer. Chris had got in touch and asked if I could do a 2-stage rotary polish as his New Car Prep. Menzerna 106FA was followed up by Menzerna 85RD. Chris helped out in the 85RD stage with his Megs G220.

The dealership had done a great job of removing tape and transport wax. The car was in good condition with only minor swirling evident on each panel. The worst panels turned out to be the bonnet and upper rear quarters, both with cat-claw type markings ranging from 1cm to about 15cm. They were not deep and were only visible at certain angles, so some defect photos on some panels really were not possible without being blinded.

2 days prior to this going ahead, the forecast was for a day of heavy rain. One day ahead and the forecast changed to blue skies and nothing but sun! Very welcome it was, even if only for a day.
The rest of the story is with the photos now.

TOTAL TIME: 12 HOURS

Lovely car, great combo from the JEFFS and Zaino and looking forward to more layers being put on to increase the wetness.

Cheers,

JOHN

Cheers Axel. Yes, an easy one to remember - the one that got done on THE good day!

Thanks for the comments. Where in Edinburgh are you based?

JOHN

Hi John, I'm based in Corstorphine (near the Zoo ) formerly known as " Spam Valley ". You've probably know it, or at least driven through it on the way to town.
