Protecting refurbished wheels

Hi, Im getting a set of RSTTs refurbished, when I get them back I want to wax / protect them before I put them on the car, I want something that actually works, protects the finish, and resists harsh road grime and brake dust. What recommendations do you guys have? :think:

use a hard wax, ive used ag extra gloss but havn`t found anything that lasts and lasts. Just think how long a wax lasts on your car then add toxic dust to it and see how long it lasts.
