    advice on this kit

    hi

can anyone let me know if this kit is any good

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Meguiars-Deep-...QQcmdZViewItem

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Meguiars-Quik-...QQcmdZViewItem

I will also be wanting to do my engine bay as well.

Any other recommendations would be great.

I have read lots about different products but i am starting to get confused.

All i am after is a kit for a beginner that wont break the bank.

The 321 kit it good but a lot of effort
The Quik Detailer/Clay Kit is a must to get your car really really smooth.

I started with Meguairs; just the basics

Gold Class Shampoo for the wash
Quik Detailer Clay Kit to smooth it off
ScratchX to get rid of some swirls
Gold Glass Wax to finish it off
Get a pack of the foam applicators and a good Microfibre cloth to buff it off with.

If you really want to get into it check out Polished Bliss' website for excellent guides after that the world is your oyster - they do a pretty comprehensive Wash kit so have a look at that for ideas. A lot of people will tell you this is better than that and the rest but at the end of the day you are the one buying it so it's your call. I've tried upteem different shampoo's since i've been on this site and finally opted for the Megs Shampoo plus after trying the Gold Glass, NXT, Mer and the rest.

For the engine bay, I just bought the Meguairs Degreaser and APC to do that job - again check out the Polished Bliss guide. All you do is dilute 4:1 or 10:1 spray it all over, agitate it, leave it for 5, engine on and spray off - job done. To top it off you can get the 303 Aerospace Protectant to give it that glint.

Sorry folks, heavy demand at the moment, and one or two products are out of stock and this is affecting some of the kits. The best thing to do is drop us an e-mail with details of what you want, and we will then e-mail you back the day everything is available to order again - saves you having to keep an eye on the website.
