Chipsaway whats everyones opinions

OK for a quick fix, but it won't last. For the money they charge, you are better off getting the whole bumper/bonnet sprayed at a bodyshop.

It's a minefield out there depending on which franchisee you use.

My dad had some excellent work done by them on his silver Alfa a couple of years back(Southport area), so when I got my Ming Blue S4, I contacted my local Chips Away guy(Liverpool).

He did a pretty crap job of the actual chips, but he did paint up a lip spoiler and managed to do a good job of that.

They were crap when I tried them on a dent on my wifes GTi in 2002, may be better now. Suppose it depends on the operative. I will not risk again..

As above, depends on the person not the brand; there are some excellent chips away guys out there, but there are also some that are truly awful, so tread carefully. Quite often a bodyshop respray is more worthwhile...
