I thought I would share this information because there is no reference to this product except 'I liked it' etc anywhere on the forums. Hope it will give others the encourage to do something about their canvas tops.

The roof was not noticeably dirty but it didn't look as blue/clean as I'd liked!

The first stage was to first spray it with a mist of water to help the solution to soak into the canvas.
Then just painted on the solution with a 2" brush from the centre out.

After 20 minutes or so of soaking it needs to be lathered up - I found that I needed to scrub (without to much force!) with a soft/medium bristled brush. (Note: I used a sponge, quite firmly, the first time and after drying was little change! So all this is the second attempt.)

Although I scrubbed reasonably firmly it has not effected/damaged the canvas in any way. I was quite worried I would make it fur up or something!
Once happy, I hosed it down and thoroughly made sure there was no solution left within the canvas.

Although totally saturated, no leaks were evident inside!

The water was dirty!

Then after drying it was much cleaner and more evident it was a blue hood! It had no green mould at the bottom at the back and above the windows where I had scrubbed.

This was painted on with a new 2" brush in the same way as the SOFT TOP CANVAS CLEANER accept you don't wet it beforehand. 2 coats are recommended with drying between coats - this shows the water beading off after only one application. I intend to apply the next application as soon as I can get it dry! If it rains ALL day it eventually soaks into the roof (but after drying it still repels water in the same way).

I feel a bit more confident that I'm protecting the roof now that its been protected.
