My father-in-law's car saw the start of 'favours' week for me. A busy, frustrating and challenging week indeed, but one that ended in sheer delight as you will see if you manage to follow all three parts. I sincerely urge you to do so:thumb:
The first instalment was characterised by torrential downpours, giving way to sunnier spells and in-betweens. Stop-start etc. I almost gave up. Consequently there are no great before and after comparison photos.
Wash and Clay
Megs APC foamed through Superspray
Rinsed with hose
Autobrite tar and glue remover applied to lower panels.
APC'd again, followed by TBM-wash with Megs Lambswool and MF mits, CG Extreme Body Wash and Wax.
Rinsed with hose.
Claying carried out using Sonus green with Megs Last Touch as lube 1:1. Started on tailgate and found it was surprisingly rough.
Car washed again and pat-dried with Poorboys WW towel.

Machine Polishing
PC 7424 with Sonus yellow pad, Menzerna 3.02.
For each panel, spread at speed 2 for two passes, followed by 4 passes at speed 4-5, ending with 2 passes at speed 3.

[B][COLOR=red]Cleansing and Protection[/COLOR][/B]
Body was HD Cleansed followed by Carbon wax.
Wheels cleansed with JEFFS Acrylic Prime and topped with Acrylic Jett.
All windows, inside and out, were cleansed and protected with JEFFS ACrylic Prime, including the glass roof.
Arches and tyres dressed with Poorboys Bold and Bright.
Tailpipes given a dose of Megs wheel brightener 4:1, followed by 10 minute hand polish with Megs NXT Polysh. They went from black to silver again.
Door shuts and jambs cleansed with Megs APC 4:1, followed by Jeffs Prime again for more cleansing and protection.
Very pleased with the end result despite all the weather interruptions.
