    Detailed informatin scratches

Have read quite a bit on this informative forum however I have a few scratches on car which are not deep they are just annoying. so bearing in mind I am a complete novice to this detaling I thought I would give it a go with a veiw to being able to polish or at least make these scratches less noticable being as my car is very dark blue almost black.

I have asked about what kind of pressure washer to get but what I need is a complete breakdown of equipment I will need along with a step by step guide on the washing methods I need to use. for example what is this "two bucket method" I am sorry if this is asking a lot but it maybe that it can be used as sticky or guide for other peeps who are really very very new to this kind of thing. (never owned a car that was worth more than 1500)

If you can advise or help I would appreciate it

You don't want a powerwasher! isn't that a cardinal sin in car washing?
