hey guys, on my a4 the windscreen seems to be covered in what can only be described as grease, its only really noticeable when its raining and the wipers are on. is there any way to get rid of this grease like substance? ive tried claying the windscreen but it aint budged it......

Try something like Mer on it and see if it shifts it, or you could try some white vinegar on a cloth and see if that works, usually cuts through anything.

oo yer i might try the vinegar thing first hopefully might save me a couple quid.

A paint cleanser should do the trick.

You need Rain-X - you do!

double application 1st cleans the grease of the 2nd stops water sticking - you'll wonder what the wipers were fitted for. anything over 10mph the water cleans itself off!!!

I have actually got rain x, but only done i application, maybe i shoulda read the instructions ooops
