Hi
Dunno if some of you have noticed but on some cars the bumper seems to be a slightly darker shade compared to the bodywork.
Is there anyway of correcting this? and whats the cause?

Cheers
Nick

maybe the bumper has been badly resprayed at some point? cant ever say that ive just noticed it myself on any cars i was randomly looking at. i assume its your car your talking about? get some pics up to show us

I've noticed it on a lots of Audis, including my own, when the light is at a certain angle. I think it's to do with the differing reflective properties of the surfaces.

Quite a common defect, sometimes due to repair/respray work, sometimes due to the difference in base material (metal vs plastic) and primers/clear layers used. The paint on bumpers is usually much thinner than on the rest of Audi's, which may also create reflective differences. I hate bumpers, very hard to correct compared to the rest of Audi paint. :)

see i know it wasnt just my eyes. yes it is in only certain lights.
No really fix for it then really?
