    PC sonus DAS pads?

I have a PC with these pads, new to it so sorry if its a daft question! I notice the orange pad in particular is quite hard, not too flexy. Presume thsi is for heavier swirl removers and cuting compounds?
But I also noticed having used the orange and gree pads the other day, that when I washed them out, they are all soft when wet. May seem obvious, but question is, should you use them "wet" (like a bodyshop polishing mop) or dry as they are, save for the polish?

The Sonus DAS pads are the same spec as the CSS pads in our store, so if you want a usage guide read here...

All PC pads should be misted lightly with a quick detailing spray before applying the product; they should not be bone dry, or wet. Guide to PC usage here...
