I came back late tonight from a flight and got caught behind a gritter on the motorway after cleaning my car to perfection.

i basically got a hell of a load of gritt stuff on my bottet and car whilst overtaking the thing....
does the grit stuff ruin paintwork...

If I get up tommorow and my car is ruined someone will pay very dearly for this.l I am seriously going to persue whoever was responsible.....

I cant beleive the timing, the same time i go home, a gritter messes my car up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check for stone chips; that's the damage that gritters cause, and it's often a fine peppering rather than large isolated chips. I feel for you, they are a damn nightmare, I just wish they'd stop salting the roads. It's not good for the environment and I'd happily put on winter rubber instead...
