    plastidip grill ;)

got hold of some of this plastidip the other week and had a go at the chrome bits on my grill. I eventually want to get it permanently painted but for a few bob I thought it was worth it

a bit of masking but not essential

    after first coat

5 coats later and excess plasti pulled off (yes I need a new reg)

turned out pretty sweet. lets see how long it will last

Looks good mate, I did my grill about 10 months ago, still looks as good as the day it was put on, no peeling ect.

Nice one, although you can get the full car done in plasti -dip, saw an a3 at aitp last year and it looked good. Suppose if you don't like it, you can just peel it off, and back to original. Imagine your neighbours face then, lol!

Will that not have covered the radiator behind the grille?

not really. there is a baffle in between the grills so nothing can directly hit the radiator and its fully blanked off behind the badge anyway
