This is my first go at giving the car a good detail and I am using a mix of professional and consumer products.
Wont review each product but will put a few comments here and there.
Total time was around 7 hours, stopped every now and then to take a few photos on my phone. Could spent a little longer with the clay bar and polishing. Didnt use a DA, mainly as the paintwork has no swirls and only has a few minor marks that are too deep to be buffed/polished out.
Car:
1. Rinse with pressure
2. Wash car with Meguiars gold class wash and Meguiars microfibre MIT. 2 bucket wash method
3. Dry using mothers microfibre chamois
4. Iron-x whole car and agitate lightly with a sponge
5. Rinse car
6. Dry using mothers microfibre chamois
7. Clay bar whole car, using mothers show time detailer as a lubricant
8. Hand polish car using Meguiars deep crystal polish, Meguiars applicator pad and Meguiars microfibre polishing cloth.
9. After all excess polish is removed and car is completely dry, apply PolishAngel master sealant, buff off and wait 2 hours until completely set.
10. Wax car using Meguiars gold class carnauba wax and buff to a shine using a microfibre cloth. Mainly waxing to preserve the expensive sealant and give a warmer look to the finish.
11. Mask off around black exterior trim and apply 303 aerospace protectant. Buff off once it has had a couple of minutes on the surface.
12. Clean windows with mothers glass cleaner and a microfibre glass cleaning pad. Apply rain-x.
Wheels:
1. Wash with microfibre mit and Meguiars gold class wash. Rinse
2. Spray Meguiars 'Hot Rims' wheel cleaner on. Rinse
3. Spray IronX, agitate with sponge, then rinse.
4. Dry with micro fibre
5. Apply PlanetPolish Wheel seal & shine. Buff with a microfibre to shine.
6. Spray tyres with Meguiars tyre foam

Iron-X - This stuff dissolves iron deposits on paintwork without damaging the surface. It turns purple after about a minute when it reacts with iron particles.
Note the picture of the wheel below - there isnt a lot of purple run-off as I already did the wheels a couple of weeks ago. Amazing stuff and makes claying a lot easier,
as a lot of the contaminants in the paintwork have already been dissolved. Spray on, leave for a minute, agitate with a sponge then rinse off.
Planet Polish wheel seal & shine - Apply it with a small applicator sponge, wait for it to dry, then buff off with a micro fibre. The main reason I am using it is to cut
down on future cleaning time and protect the wheels. It lasts around 4-5 washes apparently.
The rust disappears after using the brake a couple of times.
The clay is still quite clean after doing the bonnet. Much easier when using it post Iron-X.
This is a 'pure polish' with no abrasives.
PolishAngel Master Sealant - Costs around $40 for 50ml which basically does one vehicle.
Finished off with these. 303 Aerospace Protectant is amazing stuff. Dries to a nice dark matte look. Great for interior and exterior trim.
And the end result....
