Hellooooo

As an amatuer i can see the errors of not taping up trim even when hand polishing/waxing!

Can someone recommend the best products to use and method to remove unsightly polish residue imbedded in rubber trim please.

Autoglym 'pro tip' suggest using their Intensive Tar Remover product whilst other suggest a decent APC and some say peanut butter!

Advice greatly apprecited.

Polish residue can be removed with APC (all purpose cleaner) - under £1 a litre from Tesco/Asda, dilute at least 10:1 with water.

If you have black plastic moulding on arches or bumpers then treating these with your chosen trim treatment/shine first and then applying wax/polish to the surrounding paint areas does give some barrier to any wax overspill.

Peanut buuter (smooth) does work to an extent but its not the best trim shine, and washes off as quickly as better auto products.
