dirt on window rubbers etc

On my 8l s3, I have what looks like dirt on the window rubbers etc, but no amount of scubbing with the sponge will get it off. I haven't got a picture unfortunately, I will try and up load 1 tomorrow.

Does anybody know how to get rid of it? I didn't want to use anything that would perish the rubber.

Swiss Vax Seal Nourishment... expensive bottle but will have them looking like new... or lower budget then Autoglym rubber/vinyl care.
 
cheers guys will have a go with the cheaper auto glym 1st
 
Get some normal household APC (all purpose cleaner) and a firm, but soft brush...

Spray on, use the brush, repeat until all the browny dirt rubbish comes off....

Oh, and once done, look at Einszett Gummi Pflege to maintain and feed the seals.... far better than Swisscraps stuff...
 
Isopropyl Alcohol to clean and degrease then 303 for appearance and protection.
