Thread: chemical guys fabric guard

Hi everyone

been looking at this whilst trying to find soming to treat the family's cars plus mine. they all have cloth i have the perfrated alcantara/ leather no sites i can see it mentions alcantara but here the lad from chemical guys says you can?

i dont want it to change the look and feel of the alcantara its in excellent condition

anything like the other C Guys stuff its top banana .............. been looking at it also to treat the seats ......... with all C Guys less is more.

do you have alcantara?

It's pH neutral so I would think it would be ok on them

whats it like in real life tests jen ? is it the manin fab guard you use

Its not a guard its a cleaner....to remove dirt and stains

Another option you might want to consider which I mainly use is 303 Fabric Cleaner to remove the dirt etc and then protect using 303 Aerospace.

Aerospace is a good all round product as you can also use it on trims (interior/exterior), tyres, engine bay, you can also dilute down to use as an APC although personally its a little too expensive for that and better to keep for the previous jobs mentioned.

hmmm is that ok on alcantara ? i use a bmw interior cleaner its brilliant just want to protect alcantara and fabric i use glimptome on my leather keeps it looking brilliant

I did a little search for you on the net and others are using it on alcantara so it will be fine

If your looking for a good Alcantara cleaner give Raceglaze Alcantara Cleaner a try. Its available from Polished Bliss or Raceglaze themselves.

As for Fabric guard try Gtechniq l1 or 303 Fabric Guard

i have heard a lot about raceglase as cleaner but was really looking for protector for alcantara i am now thinking it dosnt exist
