    collinite 476S - SHINE SHINE

    Thought i would post this,

From reviews bought this wax, had a detail this weekend and come back with some amazing results.

I have used Autoglym, meguires etc - but recently moved to Chemical Guys for all items and i have been blown away by the detail and finish CG gives - well this was until Collinite 476s was applied.

I did the following to my B7

    1. Rinse
    2. C Guys de - cleanser
    3. C Guys Citrus Wash
    3. Buff Dry with C Guys drying towel
    4. Alloys cleaned with C Guys wheel cleaner.
    5. 1 coat of C Guys Butter Wax ( wet look )
    6. 2 coats of Collinite 476S wax
    7. 1 x Dress of meguires tyre dresser.

Totally Blown away with results say's you get 50 plus applications with 476S - i shall treat weekly as the beading is truly awesome. please look at my garage for close up pics if you like - Jay

476S is a good solid wax; gives a nice result at the price, but it's fair to say it's not the last word in aesthetics; it's not the glossiest, most reflective or richest finish but it's ideal as winter protection.

Bear in mind, one coat of 476S will last roughly 6months; I think applying weekly is complete overkill!

476 is very good for the money. I agree with John here, applying weekly coats is overkill and a complete waste of time and wax!

I've used 476 and tend to top up the protection every 5-6 weeks at most!

'Megs quick detailer' is great for getting back to that "just waxed look". i find it works best if your just finished giving your car a thorough wash, while the car is still wet, spray on (you'll see the water dispearse), one pannel at a time, dry your car and then buff up that shine you spent hours getting :-)
its a great Drying Aid and a top up between waxes that you can use it as often as you like with out the risk of "over waxing" !!!!

    Smells great too :-D
