hi all,

i want to clean the metals bits on my engine i have some gel to put on the pipes etc so thats no problem. Now i have auto glym metal polish is this ok to use on the engine? and before i use this i need to clean off the oily muck. can i just use washing up liquid? it takes of the grease off my pans well enough lol or should i use a proper degreaser?

cheers

We've been using Auto Finesse Citrus Power quite often: Auto Finesse Citrus Power | Auto Finesse Car Care & Detailing Products for engine bays; nice and easy to use, just rinse the engine bay to remove the loose grime, spray this on, work it with a soft brush: Raceglaze Detailing Brush Set | Raceglaze Car Care & Detailing Products then rinse.

For the metal parts, personally, I'd want to remove them if possible and work on them off the car - I'd use Raceglaze Alutech for these areas if needed: Raceglaze Alutech Metal Polish | Raceglaze Car Care & Detailing Products

:)
