I've had good results on rear lights using 3m Yellow spot pad and Megs 205 via rotary.
2003 Audi A4 Avant-tdi 130-Remapped, Allard EGR Pipe, Smooth airbox, HIDS, Flyeye kit, de-chrome grill, de-badged.

Meguiar's 205 and a yellow pad would be fine.

The plastics are really quite soft so there's no need to use anything too aggressive (the current fad for wet sanding headlights is completely un-necessary)

I tend to use Menzerna 203S Menzerna Power Finish (203S) | Menzerna Car Care & Detailing Products with a Light Cut Lake Country pad on the machine: Lake Country 100 mm Constant Pressure Pads | Lake Country Car Care & Detailing Products - watch your temperatures as the plastic doesn't dissipate heat like a metal panel; too much heat and you'll distort the plastic.

You can get a good result using 203S by hand with a Light Cut pad: Lake Country Light Cut Hand Pad | Lake Country Car Care & Detailing Products
