How to remove decals without damaging paintwork?

Hi, as title states, have a Nurburgring decal on the car which I want to remove, it peels off easily enough but leaves the sticky mess behind. What's best to get it off without damaging the paintwork?

Use a product called tar&glue remover. Ebay sell it and it's 100% safe..

yeah as colin said tar & glue is the best stuff to use dont be tempted to use white spirit as that can take all the waxes and polishes off your paintwork
