I bought my A3 last weekend, so today I thought it deserved a good clean!
It's been a long day, I started at 8.30am and finished just before 6pm!
Engine bay
Degreased engine with Meguiars Super Degreaser (4:1)
Agitated with Raceglaze Detailing Brushes
Protected with 303 Aerospace Protectant
Wheels & Arches
Wheels cleaned with Bilberry Wheel Cleaner
Agitated with EZ Detail Wheel Brush and Raceglaze Detailing Brushes
Tyres and wheel arches cleaned with Meguiars Super Degreaser (4:1)
Wheels sealed with Poorboy's Wheel Sealant
Tyres dressed with Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel
Washing
Thorough rinse (10-15 mins)
Pre-wash with Meguiars Hyperwash
Cleaned window seals, door shuts etc. with Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner (10:1)
Wash car using the 2BM with Meguiars Shampoo Plus and a Lambswool Wash Mitt
Sprayed car with Meguiars Last Touch (1:1) and dried off with a PB Luxury Drying Towel to avoid water spots marks
Decontamination
Step 1 Decontaminated car using Autosmart Tardis and an Atomiza Microfibre Work Towel
Step 2 Removed surface contaminants with Meguiars Mild Detailing Clay using Meguiars Last Touch (1:1) as a lubricant
Protection
Cleansed paint with Werkstatt Acryllic Prime using a Meguiars Microfibre Applicator
Applied 3 coats of Werkstatt Acryllic Jet Trigger (leaving 30 minutes between each coat)
Applied 1 coat of Werkstatt Acryllic Glos
Glass
Cleansed exterior glass with Werkstatt Acryllic Prime using a Meguiars Microfibre Applicator
Cleansed interior glass with Meguiars Glass Cleaner (10:1) using a Poorboys Super Thick & Plush Towel
Interior
Interior hoovered out with Henry Hoover!
Floor mats cleaned with Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner (10:1)
Leather interior cleaned with Raceglaze Leather Cleaner using a Meguiars Microfibre Applicator Pad and Raceglaze Leather Cleaning Brush
Leather interior protected with Raceglaze Leather Balm using a Meguiars Microfibre Applicator
