    As some of you may already know, Custom-Code Ltd are sponsoring GTI international 2008, and will be offering a unique performance software experience. We are centrally located therefore our software flashing bay will be accessible from anywhere on the site.

    For this event only, we will be offering a massive 40% discount off the regular retail price, as well as a FREE Ľ mile sprint run. This is an exclusive offer­ not to be missed and an ideal opportunity to test your new-found performance! ! !

    There is no need to book, just turn up on Saturday or Sunday, pop your car round to our tuning bay which is going to be located next to the JBS stand at the start of the Ľ mile sprint and 30-40mins later you will have Custom-Code and be ready to rip it up the strip for free.

    If at any given point it gets extremely busy, we aim to have 4 tuners on hand, so we should have a steady flow of Custom-Code traffic throughout the weekend.

    I have mine mapped already but for people that haven't had it done yet, how would you know what ECU number/code you would have on your car?

    Sorry bit of a stupid question but what the difference between stage 2 and stage 1? Also are the custom maps or generic?

    I noticed this in the JBS forum too. There's a strong possibility that I'll get the RS4 done while I'm done at inters, but there's a couple of things offered by other tuners and I was wondering if you could include them too. Mainly reducing the cold-start rev limit down to 4300rpm, and making the exhaust valves operate with the sport button in the first three gears? And I assume the rev and speed limiter are upped with the map?

    They usually go on year but to give you an idea the 1.9tdi (105bhp) and 2.0TDI (140, 170) are EDC16 and the 1.9TDI (100, 115, 130, 150, 160) are all EDC15

    Phase 1 is a generic file that is proven and tested all over the world and a Phase 2 is a custom file tuned to what modifications you have already done - you will require a least a complete performance exhaust system with sports cat or de-cat to go for Phase 2.

    Sorry about the late reply, I have just been so busy in the office I have not had time to be on the forums

    All possible but it would be classed more as a Custom-Code Phase 3 not really suitable to do at GTI due to time restraints and testing. But if you call and pre-book then we should be able to do it.

    Can you confirm if my car would be checked with Vagcom before and after the flash - also is there any check on fuel/air ratio or is that just for a custom map..just concerned you will be so busy that checks on engine health pre/post may not be possible?

    We always carry out a VAG-Com check pre flash to make sure all is ok before we do anything,if anything is wrong we will inform the customer and take the situation from there

    We are looking into the possibility of sending a technician on the 1/4mile with the car to log the boost,timing and airflow
