Thread: mk1 fiesta supersport

these were great little cars. forerunner i guess to the xr2 and the like.
my mate had one at the same time as i had my 1600 sport escort and around the streets i couldnt get near him!

oh yes, I REALLY wanted one but couldn't afford one at the time....did own a mk1 and mk2 xr2 but still regret never having had a supersport.....

Retro cool. Everybody I know that has had one regrets selling it. A mate of mine with a 400bhp Fiesta and a Noble M12 still goes all misty eyed when talking about his old Supersport

I used to have a mk1 that started off as a 1.1L but someone had been messing and it ended up with a supersport engine and Ghia interior. I only found out when I went to get an exhaust for it. Wondered why it was so nippy!

mega cool loved the white with red stripes.....even better running xr2 lump

I've got a mk1, waiting for some attention-at 1 point wanted to make it a supersport rep. Wish I'd bought a supersport when they were cheap though now. As with all old cruddy fords they rocket in value.
