Spyker c8 laviolette

sounds like a posh toilet and looks like the contents of one, not my cup of tea

who is we out of interest ?

Basically i work for the specialist division of Swinton insurance, So get all the high performance/high value/modified/imported cars...

Got quite a few nice ones rarest are:
Spyker C8 Laviolette this is the only Right and drive in existance worldwide (at time of insurance about 4 months back not too sure now, worth £185,000)

Alfa Romeo 8C - which is on the cool wall, think only 10 in the UK..

Then obviously things like:
= AUDI R8 =, Ferrari 360 Modenas, Ferrari 430s, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 360-4, Aston DB 7,9, Hummers, Escaldes, Porsche Carrera 4s, Boxster 2s... BMW M5, M3 Etc...

Then like:
Impreza TYPE-RA, Evos 4-10, Skylines and the rest of your jap imports.

It's quite interesting! Then all your modifed lot... If drivers tend to have experiance on performance cars and decent NCB we tend to be fairly competative

Bit of insight into the "strangness" of this car. Spyker used to manufacture aeroplanes in WWII i think it was and their cars carry that tradition in respect of the alloys looking like propellers, Steering wheel similar to a propeller, Dash like a planes dash etc...

also hence why the roof is of glass like the cockpit of a plane. I think they're belgium company in which Broughtons (worth a look on their site) have the exclsive rights of distribution in the UK

Credit Crunch ? pah...clearly not for your clients , sounds interesting

the 8c has to be the jewel in the crown though!!, its as beautiful as a car can get in my opinion

Have to add my opinion to this one, to me this car was designed by someone who thought if they make it look unique and lavish, then they would sell on that alone at high price in low numbers. That may work.

However I wouldn't want to meet any of the people who will buy one because they are guaranteed to be an idiot.

A waste of a good engine if you ask me.

Seriously uncool.

Hmm...it's a bit of a bling chariot, isn't it?
Not my bag...

I suspect bought by those with too much money and not enough taste, who want to make a statement, rather than want it for driving.

I can't help but think the £185,000 would be better spent on at least two others off the list mentioned - excluding the Gangsta Trucks!
