Has the same road presence and performance as an Audi Quattro... nuff said... too bad it wall fall to bits on the way up the road.

Absolutely marvellous car. Always gets me craning a look in my rear view mirrors when I pass one

Spotted one of these (in red) in Milton Keynes on Saturday. He flew away at a roundabout :racer: :)

I did a rally driving course about 15 years ago and the instructor was supposed to be a rising star in the rally world. Anyhow Lancia sponsered him and supplied him with an Integrale which was the nuts. He was a nob though because when we had to follow him down the country lanes to the pub for lunch, he went so fast that evrybody struggled to keep up. So much so that 2 lads from Brum crashed their pride and joy, a mint yellow Escort RS2000, into a hedge. They were so gutted they didn't finish the afternoon session,

Was good on the rally circuit but a complete mess in real life, fast car and what not but if you stood close enough even on a sunny day you could hear and see it rusting in front of you!

Yeah it's NCAP ratings would be poor as well, and there's absolutely nowhere to put your pipe, much better off with a Primera.
Sub zero all the way. There's one on autotrader at the moment for £20k, supposedly the best example in the UK, but you can pick up a good one for £8-9k. Anyone know the difference between the standard 16v, Evo & Evo 2?

They are very cool cause not many people know what they are. I had a 1992 Evo 1 in Rosso Monza Red before my A3 and I do miss the looks, performance and handling and the smile it put on my face everytime I opened the garage. I dont miss the bills, 2 melted pistons, a blown turbo and the stress cracks in the shell!

Other than that awesome!!

This is my Favourite car ! I dream of owning one but it's too much for a second(actually 3rd) car !

my mate used to work at Auto Integrale in Reading, think he's had a bout 4 or 5 of them, driven a few myself, and helped out on a few. They are starting to be worth a fortune now.

oh dear

A friend of mine in the Lakes had one back in the early 90s. Even let me have a go at age 19!!!

Boy was it cool, and still is now.

Anyone remember the 'Wheeler Dealers' where they refurbed one?

Cheers,

Had 4 Deltas over the years - last one was an HFie Turbo which I had for 7 years and was mint - always wanted an Integrale - got distracted - bought a diesel Audi :slap:

WILL have a pre Evo 16v Integrale one day :respekt:

Hey,

First of all sorry about the grave dig, Was just curious what is the shiny peice of metal under the front of the car, Is it for redirecting airflow?

Cheers

I had the original 8 valve, but my best mate, had a monza red evo1 that was more than likely the cleanest one in the country at the time of his ownership, he organised a few London to Brighton runs for the integrales, he had one of the first evo's that had the water bag in the boot for the intercooler, love the integrales and would love to own another one, one day but they are getting so expensive now
