Here we have my mint Audi S3 finished in rare Santorin Blue Pearl with contrasting ivory white full leather Recaro interior.
This is my 3rd 8L S3, so it's fair to say I know these cars very well, it's also my 5th Audi, I'm quite an Audi enthusiast as you can now tell.
I'll be honest from the start but I have only owned the car for 3 months, there is a genuine reason for sale and that is simply down to the fact that I could really do with a 4 door car due to us recently having our 3rd child and we can't always rely on my wife's zafira. This is only a very recent decision, since buying the car I have spent very close to £1000 on it replacing several parts and generally tidying it up, if I didn't intend to keep it from the start I would never of spent that money on it, now I have just spent that amount of money for the benefit of the new owner to enjoy as I know I won't get that money back.
Anyway, on with the details of the car.

As mentioned it is a rare Santorin Blue Pearl which looks gorgeous in the sun! It has a silvery and almost purple fleck in the paint which really shows on a nice sunny day. I spent an awful long time detailing the bodywork when I bought it, I first used auto glym intensive tar remover on the WHOLE car, it literally had 12 years worth of tar all over the car, this took me a whole day alone to remove laying a good foundation for a real good polish and wax. I then spent another day polishing the whole car with auto glym ultra deep shine and finally waxed it with auto glym extra gloss protection. Now the bodywork is smooth and has a very deep shine. I even went to OCD lengths to detail every door hinge area, door shut, under bonnet, and the whole engine bay with auto glym engine and machine cleaner. Now it looks as good as it did when it rolled out of the factory.
There is not a single dent down either side of the car, it has no scrapes either. There are a couple of very MINOR scratches here and there but you do really have to look for them.
It has facelift headlights and rear lights fitted along with facelift front and rear S3 badges. An addition of a Seat Leon Cupra R front splitter really makes the front end look more aggressive. Genuine vag aero wiper blades and arms are fitted on both front and rear of the car which are a massive improvement over the dated original wiper arms and blades.
The interior received the same level of OCD as the bodywork did from me as well. I cleaned and conditioned the front and rear seats as well as the leather on the door cards and rear panels with Gliptone leather car products and the results are amazing for the age of the car and mileage, they now look a bright ivory white and are nice and supple. The only wear they have are some slight creases on the bolsters but no thinning of the leather or tears etc are present, they really do look lovely now. It has an extremely rare factory option of ivory stitching on the steering wheel, gear gaitor, and handbrake lever to match the seating which really sets the interior off nicely. The steering wheel is still like new as well with no wear at all. No wear is on the dash panels either, the headlight switch is perfect (common problem on these) and the piano black trim is spot on.
All controls work exactly as they should, apart from the cruise control which was retro fitted (not factory fitted) I'm not sure why it doesn't but it's never bothered me as I don't normally use cruise on any cars I've had equipped with it so never looking into it. It has an aftermarket JVC headunit fitted which has full iPod / iPhone control with album, track, and artist display, and it's all linked up and fully working to the original factory fitted sound system which has an amp and sub all hidden away in the boot. The DIS (driver information display) has a couple of pixels missing which is extremely common on all audi's of this era - try and find one which hasn't got any missing pixels! But this really is very minor and hardly noticeable, it's in fact the best I've had. It also has factory fitted optional extra alloy foot pedals which is a nice addition. Aircon is ice cold with no leaks. The front seats are electric and also factory optional heated, they have 6 heat settings and both work perfectly. Lovely on a chilly morning!
Factory fitted alarm and immobiliser which has full closure and opening function from the key fob. I have both sets of keys/fobs, the service key, plastic wallet key, and the tag which has the keys unique re-ordering code.
ENGINE & PERFORMANCE-
Although the engine has covered 155k miles you would never know it, it ticks over lovely and quiet with no hunting on idle or anything, and it pulls extremely strong in every gear with no issues at all. It's a lot quieter than my old S3 that had 90k on the clock. The MRC remap is perfect, for anyone that knows Audi's then I'm sure you would of heard of MRC Tuning, they are reknowed for getting some serious power out of any turbo'd vag car yet retain drivability and reliability. Its a custom map which has been specifically done to get the most out of it's mods etc, so no generic superchips map here! It has a full turbo back Milltek exhaust system fitted which consists of a 3" down pipe, de-cat pipe, and a resonated cat back system (sounds lovely). An adjustable Forge SplitR recirculating / vta valve is fitted along with a Forge silicone TIP (turbo intake pipe) and silicone boost pipe. It also has an uprated Sachs organic clutch fitted which bites exactly where it should (nice and low on the pedal) and does not slip at all. Power is in the region of 270-280 bhp.
Up front it has a Brembo junior GT big brake kit fitted, this consists of 4 pot calipers with 323mm discs. I fitted a brand new set of J grooved discs (similar to the discs found on an M3 CSL) about 6 weeks ago, and a set of brand new Ferodo pads. It also has a set of braided brake lines fitted. At the rear I fitted a brand new set of Mintex discs and pads at the same time as fitting the front ones, so it has fresh discs and pads all round, no need to worry about replacing those anytime soon!
WHEELS & TYRES-
A set of GENUINE BBS CH alloys are fitted which are very expensive wheels, new this particular size and fitment would set you back £1300 WITHOUT tyres. I have had them recently professionally refurbished where they were acid dipped and stripped, shot blasted, and then powder coated in a high gloss fleck silver which really compliments the pearl in the bodywork on a sunny day. At the time of them being refurbished I bought a brand new set of tyres, these are Falken 912 tyres which in my opinion are an excellent all round tyre, these have only covered around 500 miles tops. To ensure that maximum life is achieved from the tyres I had an alignment check and adjust done on the car after the tyres were fitted so all tyres should wear evenly across the whole tread, another thing not to have to worry about replacing for a long time to come!
It's been very well maintained throughout it's life which shows in it's extensive file of history, I have an A4 ring binder jam packed with receipts for it, all in date order, and all filed neatly in clear plastic covers. All work and mods carried are documented in this folder. A tracker is fitted to the car with a leather wallet and receipt to prove.
I have the leather wallet which has all booklets, user manuals, and service booklet in it.

MOST RECENT SERVICE-
I have also just had a major service carried out which involved an oil and filter change, gearbox and transfer case oil change, rear diff oil change, spark plug change, cabin filter change, and air filter change. This was carried out by a mechanic who has been a friend of the family for around 15 years, he has been a mechanic all his life and is very experienced, he's also the only person I trust to work on my cars. This service was performed by KRC Autos on 23/04/12 @ 155,569 miles. Also as you can see from the service history above the timing belt, water pump, and hydraulic damper was replaced only 4000 miles ago, so another big job that will not need attention for a very long time!
This car has been extremely well looked after throughout it's life, and dispite it's high mileage and high number of owners (11) I have no doubt that this car is in far better condition and runs better than the vast majority of S3's out there which has half the mileage and only a few owners, which is exactly why I bought it myself (anyone that knows me will vouch for how fussy I am with my cars)
Mot'd until 7th September 2012
Tax'd until 31st October 2012 (Just re-taxed it for 6 months last week)
Please note that the 'S3 FEX' number plate shown in the photos is no longer on the car as I transferred my own private plate onto it, i am in the process of removing my private plate and this sadly means that the car will be reunited with it's original registration number and NOT the 'S3 FEX' registration.
This is a car that has had all major things done to it recently so is in no need of any costly jobs for a long long time, just drive and enjoy!
I'm sure I have covered everything, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
