hand brake adjustment How ??

I have an audi 80 2lt coupe, hand brake nealy goes verticle, how do i adjust, MOT time. Discs all round! Son inlaws car! really appreciate any help, not familiar with these cars!

I guess I'll hijack this thread. I've got the same problem with my 1994 Audi 80 2.0(abt). It seems the adjustment is between the mid muffler and the floor of the car? Is it correct? Did they put it there to have fun? :P

Changed one of the calipers because the handbrake-arm was rusted stuck, so had no handbrake on that wheel originally. But the pipe that the wire runs through is broken, so i guess i might have to change the whole wire. Do i need to replace the wire on the other side as well?
