Audi 80 2.0i 'Misfires'

I have an Audi 80 2.0i 1995, and it accelerate unevenly. When I put my foot down, the car can hold back then lurch forward. This seems to happen mostly when the engine is cold. I can put my foot down and nothing will happen and the car will then accelerate, but not to its full potential. I have changed the HT leads, spark plugs, distributor cap, air-flow meter - but the porblem is still the same. Im thinking now is it the ignition coil - but the car starts fine everytime. Any suggestions would be welcome - this is quite annoying now!

i had the same problem with my 1990 2.0i 80sport,try cleaning/changing the lambda sensor.
