audi 80 engine swap

does anyone know would the 4.2 v8 engine fit in the bay of the audi 80, we were gonna fit the rs4 engine but we would have had to do a lot of modding to fit it in........

Given enough time and money, anything can be achieved. If you google Motorgeeks there is an ongoing thread on there where a US memebr has stuck a v8 into an old s2 style coupe. I recon there cannot be huge differences between bay sizes
