I am just letting members know what was wrong with my 16v,
after 10 painful months of rough running,stalling and flat spots. Also Haynes printing no manual,doesn't help.
The passat and golf 16v use the same engine, but no manual for them either. So had no place to get car stats.
The M.O.T. test revealed emissions sky high.+12.53% should be 0.09%. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif So took the car to Camco88 in Warrington (electronic wizards) and they sorted the emissions out after adjusting all the injection system, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gifbut found the wrong throttle body on. Of course i didn't realise as no drawing, the drawing on the Audi parts list was so basic, it could have been any throttle body i was looking at.
So have to modify this one as 800 quid for a new one is more than the cars worth. so will be sorted over the holidays. So a big thankyou to anyone who answered my posts.
