1985 4000S Power Locks/heated seats not working

My power lock feature which stopped working. The heated seats work when the key is on the power position but stop working once engine is started. When switch for seats is turned on there is a whining noise that comes from under the dash. Could this be the relays. Any ideas or experience with these issues? Thanks

Did you ever fix your seats and locks? I have the same problem.

I know for the power locks they are controlled by vaccum, so I'd start with looking for leaks (yuck)

The power lock vacuum is controlled by an electric pump. that in turn is controlled by an ecu which is also linked to the alarm and on some models to the electric windows/sunroof. you may want to check the electrical circuits as well as the vacuum pipes.

I guess it would be worth checking the relays for the seat problem.
