Hi im looking for some advice on my audi coupe v6, i was driving along the other nite and then i lost all power, died out. its turning over fine but i dnt think is getting fuel, i changed the fuel filter and also checked the pump any one have any ideas, will be greatly appreciated. the fuel pipe that leads to the engine in the bay i have slackend that off and no fuel had got there. cheers.

You should be able to hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on (postion 2 when all the dash lights come on) If you can't hear it hum (1-2 seconds only) then Rev-head is probably right. If you can hear it hum but still no fuel it could be the lift pump.
got it sorted in the end was the fuel pump playing up, got a nasty bill of 140 for a new one. cheers
