I have recently aquired a 1986 audi 80 B2 saloon to use as a daily. Being an engineer, i can help but tinker.
Anyway, basically i can find no0where that stocks 'performance' parts for these audis. I want to lower it and fit alloys to start (the alloys arent really difficult to find being as theyre 4x100!) but cannot find any reasonably priced suspension kits.
I then want to look at cosmetics: they arent the most beutifull cars in the world and just a few touches would really make a difference: smoothed grille, clear indicators, that sort of thing.
So basically, what im asking is, where can i get these sort of parts, and what are common modifictions to this motor? I was looking at the potential of an engine conversion, perhaps to a 5 cylinder carbed motor.....
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
