86 5000 engine question

i am in possession of an 86 5000s with a good engine and an 86 5000 cs turbo with a cracked head. my question is - can i interchange the turbo unit from the cs to the s to give it a little more oomph?

Negative, The Turbo head has lower compression on the ports to accomodate the Turbo, therefore it will not operate on a standard fuel injected head as it's head has higher compression.
